Great Starting Point

Hey all,

I know starting out is different to everyone but in everyone’s experienced opinion, where is a good place to start? More specifically, what’s easiest out of everything to begin with with the least amount of risk? Rentals? Airbnb’s? Commercial? Flips?

Hi Katelyn,

All investments have risk but the least amount of risk to start with would be.

1. Long term rentals. Easier to get financing and more stable.

2. AirBnb- Can control the rents and cost of entry is lower. Worst case you can turn it into a long term rental.

3. Commercial - I'm thinking retail, office, or larger multis- More risk since there is a higher cost of acquisition and dollar amount needed to get started. Office and retail are business oriented and relies heavily on macro and local economies.  Not my space but to me, it's riskier than selling shelter to people.

4. Flips- Most risky
