Looking to invest in Virginia

Aaron Gore
Posted

Hello!

I would like to buy a house in either the Fairfax or Hampton Roads, Virginia area. I work near DC so I was thinking about buying a house and renting out a couple rooms if I was to buy near Fairfax or just have a long distance rental in HR. Does anyone have recommendations/contacts to help me get this process started? This would also be my first home purchase FYI. Thanks!

I sure do! @Russell Brazil is your new real estate agent if you are looking for investment property in NoVA.

I do a house hack in DC where I live in the basement unit for free (actually I do better than free, I cash flow about $1800 a month) and I rent out all the bedrooms upstairs if you have any questions along the way about how to do the same in Fairfax.
