First rental. New construction add sprinkler system.?

Currently finalizing details on a new construction home as my first rental. House is 148,000 with sod and sprinklers. 141,000 without. I’m planning on zeroscaping the front yard and for sure having grass in the backyard. The house should be completed in December.  Do y’all suggest I let the builder do it?  Or do it myself or find another contractor. Are sprinklers worth the hassle?  Thank you
