Credit Repair/Financial Wellness

I am in the process of repairing my credit so I can begin real estate investing. My credit score is between a 650 and 680, and thankfully I have zero debt outside of my credit card balances. I have three lines of credit, all credit cards, that I pay off in full every month. However, unfortunately, I defaulted on a credit card when I was a freshman in college (3 years ago) and that negative mark is impacting my credit. I am looking for advice on how to better repair my credit and do so quickly and if there’s any consulting firms or advisers to seek out.
