No money, no credit -- what to do first?
BK Ch 7 discharged in 9/2010
Filed BK Ch 13 in 12/2010 but dismissed because everything was taken care of by bk ch 7 discharge
short sale of personal residence took place in 12/2011
Mortgage was included in Bk Ch 7 discharge.
Personal home was not foreclosed on, it was sold through short sale.
Who knows answers to these questions:
1. How long do I need to wait to qualify for a FHA financing?
2. Can we buy 2-4 units with FHA financing?
3. If I am a renter in a home more than 50 miles from a 2-4 unit property I buy and I live there during the workweek, does that still qualify as owner occupied?
4. How much money do I need to invest outside of California and cash flow positive?
5. What strategies do you recommend?
