Section 8 Advice Northwest Indiana

Hey BP!

I am just starting out and considering the section 8 program. I called the local HSA in NWI and it was hard to get some of my questions regarding rent prices and how the payment standard is set. (I plan to call back soon)

Anyone from Northwest Indiana who has experience dealing with the local HSAs? Even if I could get an idea of how they set rent would be great, because I can't even practice running my numbers without that figure!

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Alyssa. I am still new and went to only one REI before the pandemic shut them all down. Maybe they will be opening the meetings back up soon so I can network with some property managers and such. I am sure some local REI have some information.
