Live-in flip - recommendations

Posted

Hello BP family,

Me and my wife are facing our first live-in flip.  She has very expensive taste but a beautiful designer eye - actually a designer by trade - and I am handy and have some experience watching budgets run away.  We are struggling a bit deciding what materials to use, how to best maximize our investment into the renovation.

One of the first questions we have is... what is the best way to find low cost cabinets with the higher-end look? Any suggestions / opinions are welcomed.

I guess we can extend that question to the rest of the materials needed for the renovation, tiles, appliances, counters... we are located in NJ about 40 minutes south of NYC - in case that helps in pointing us in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!
