Made a mistake and bought a Timeshare

Dana Moore II
Posted

I am currently saving to buy a multifamily house while paying down debt to increase my credit score. As I am reviewing my finances I have begun to rethink a Timeshare that I purchased in 2015. I would like to cancel/rescind the contract that I am currently in because each payment that I make on my "mortgage" and maintenance fees is slowing me down from saving for my multifamily.

I would like to know if anyone has any information on how to cancel the timeshare without going through a company where i have to pay lawyers to get out of the contract.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you
