Hi All, This is a great forum. I am new here and looking to buy my first rental in suburban Detroit (Farmington, Southfield, Novi, Birmingham). Looking to connect with others who are familiar with the area.

Welcome @Venkat M. I've lived in and have a rental in Southfield. I now live in Farmington Hills. All 4 of these markets are Good to Great to Excellent. Out of these 4, Southfield is most likely to have a BiggerPockets type ROI, investors are looking for in traditional Buy and Hold. The other 3 would most likely be a large play on "equity", through loan pay down and appreciation.
