Looking for 1st investment property (duplex)

Hi everyone, 

I'm Jed, a noob investor located in Central Jersey. Currently, I'm looking for my first house hack (a duplex) in towns such as Montclair, Clifton, and Bloomfield. I know I shouldn't rush into things but i want to make my first investment in 2021. Hopefully by the end of the year I can develop a team I can rely on.

Are there any events/webinars/meet and greets during these times that will expedite the learning process? 

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Excited to meet my fellow NJ investors!
