Looking to create a solid team in ATL and house hacking question

Hello Everyone,

1st Question:

I'd like to see if anyone in the nearby Atlanta area has contacts for high-quality subs, contractors, wholesalers, PMs, etc?

2nd Question:

I'm waiting to close on my first new construction primary residence which I'll be house hacking.

Regarding house hacking, I'll be using a VA loan to purchase the property. I know that I have to live on the property for 1 year then I can wash repeat to purchase a second property. I wanted to know what would be some solid general steps to follow once I'm coming up on the year with the first property? I'm very green to RE and would like to make sure my processes are smooth and I'm as prepped as I can be. Also... any insight when transitioning from house hacking 1 property (turning into a rental) then purchasing my second home to house hack? (DTI, Taxes, etc?

If you need more information or clarification let me know, thanks for the help in advance BP family!
