House Hacking out of College

Dear BiggerPockets associates,

As an aspiring real estate investor, I'm wondering if house hacking would be the best path in exposing myself to the market. I am a current senior in college and will be moving post graduation. So here is my question, should I try and house hack fresh out of college, or should I rent for living and save up money in order to invest in properties that I won't be living in? Looking forward to your feedback!
