New Investor in Columbus OH.

Good Afternoon All,

I am a real estate rookie in Columbus, OH. I am planning to use my VA loan to finance my first property. Can anyone tell if I would be able to use the BRRRR method with a VA loan on a single-family home? Please note, I plan to owner occupy the first year and after that rent out the property. Also, can any recommend any Realtors in the area with investment properties?

V/R

VA loan requirements are more strict compared to, say a conventional loan. It would just depend on the home you are looking to BRRRR. If the current home needs very slight work, the VA loan would work. If it is something that you are trying to do a full flip on, I don't think it would work. Best of luck!
