How do You find Rockstars?

Hello BP so I curious on how would you approach somone if they know somone big?

for example my friend knows the owner of a commerical gym I go to because her sister is dating him. And I was thinking wow if I can be connected to that person just by knowing this info I wonder if other people know anybody else that's big.

So My question is how would you approach someone and ask if they know a Rockstar, a multi-millionare, or someone famous? would I just ask "Hey do you know a famous person?" Because if I ask the right person in a grocerie store they may say something like "yeah my dad is friends with Lebron James would you like to meet him?"
