2 year work history as requirement

Posted

Hey guys, so I've been working as a mailman for the past year and a half but due to issues will be quitting tomorrow. If I were to get a new job in a new field does that mean I have to start from zero again? I heard that lenders require you to work in the same job or field for 2 years in order to loan the money. If this is the case, is there any way I can work around this? I would really like to buy my first rental property next year.
