“Investor Friendly” Real Estate Agent Questions

Hi all! I’ve been binge listening to the Real Estate Rookie podcast and I’m looking to get started by house-hacking a duplex!

I would love to hear some questions that I should be asking Real Estate Agents that I am looking into to bring onto my team. I know that there are some agents that are better suited for working with Investors than others so I was wanting to get some questions that you all would recommend I ask them when trying to decide who to use! Thanks!

    You need one that works quickly. Good deals go fast. And one that has his/her pulse on off-market opportunities. If you aren't happy with the service, tell them and find another agent. I'm a Realtor and I hate seeing investors waste their time with agents that don't provide them good service. Having said that, investors are hard customers. Just as you don't want to waste time, don't waste theirs either. Remember, they aren't earning money until you close. If you are asking them to do work then you should count them in financially on the next deal you do, whether it's wholesaling or by-owner or whatever. Treat them well and they will treat you well.
