Where do I start? (Newbie)

Hey guys. So I’m 21 and I have a buddy who has recently got done at school for real estate and he was telling me how much he liked it. It got me Interested, and I started looking more and more into it. I ended up buying the “How to invest in real estate” book. Turns out I wanna get into real estate. Where should I start first? Besides getting my license. Just save up and research as much as possible or what? Thanks.
