Commercial Real Estate!

Hello Commercial Real Estate Investors! I am looking to get into commercial real estate, specifically multi-family and learning as much as I can about the whole process of owning and managing a commercial property. I want to invest into my own building, and while I am saving up be able to learn as much as I can before I buy. I have a background in wholesaling and am a licensed realtor so I would love to help bring value to any commecrial investors that I can, while learning more about the nuances that come with commercial properties. I have done research into commercial investing, but would like to walk a property in person and fill in the gaps of what i've learned so far! Looking forward to any feedback or gems of knowledge that anyone has for me and wish you all a great day!

Jacob,

I am in a similar boat! I recently read The Multifamily Millionaire Books (Volume I and II) by @Brandon Turner and @Brian Murray. Volume I focuses mainly on small multifamily, which sounds like it would be most beneficial to you. There are some great nuggets in these books that offer some perspective on the world of multifamily investing. Some of my key takeaways were that it is important to define exactly what you're looking for (Crystal Clear Criteria - CCC) and that, using the stack method, financial freedom through small multifamily investing is tangible and achievable for everyday folks like you and I!
