Real Estate Structuring during growth stage

Tanner Carson
Posted

BP member for years, got off for a while due to kids and being busy. RE has recently taken off and went from flipping 5 houses over 5 years to now having 2 rentals, 1 new construction home, 9 flips, 36 acres under contract for major development, 29 acre site for senior living cottages next to hospital, and a 7 unit apartment in a coastal town here in Texas which will under go a major over haul. I have been able to secure Private equity through the years and now am taking off full steam ahead. However, my ambition now exceeds my organization skills.I am not one to not delegate, just need guidance. I have recently hired an administrative assistant to help with acquisition paperwork and other things. I am looking for help in structure and tax strategies going into all these. Yes, I know should have had all this in place, most of which I do. Maybe looking for mentor on how to structure growing like this.

Aside from this I am building a shop for our HQ to store materials and things like that. Anyone in this particular situation?

I work full time as a real estate agent as  well. My team consist of me, a partner, and 1 admin.

things i am strong in

-good crews

-decent material knowledge

-great closing attorneys, can write my own contracts

-multiple appraisal connections.

-market knowledge

things i am weak in

-organizing the chaos

-tax strategies

-and I am sure a list of others.
