Real Estate License and a W2 Leasing Agent

Trevor Thatcher
Posted

I am a W2'd leasing agent for someone that has a 121 unit portfolio. The owner is not a licensed agent and Wyoming does not require a license to manage properties for 1 non-licensed owner. My questions is can I get my real estate and work for a licensed broker and keep my W2 Leasing Agent position?

Who is your license held with now? If you don't need it for the leasing W2 then yes you can
