I was just wondering what kind of fees might I expect to pay after I get my real estate license in the state of Oklahoma and hanging my license with a broker?
Anywhere from $2,000 to $2,500, depending on your school. If you want more info on how to get it, send me a PM.
$2000 seems a bit high from what i recall but it has been a while. guess it also depends on if you have desk fees and the like with your broker.
After you become licensed you would have:
Possibly marketing fee's.
Then depending on which broker you choose you may have monthly fee's, desk fee's, technology fee's, e&o insurance. It will most likely be in your best interest to choose a brokerage with a lower split but no monthly fee's.
It cost me closer to $3,000, but I am in Colorado. In December, I wrote a post that gave a breakdown of fees.
Oklahoma can't be all that different from Colorado.
Agency Fees (errors and omissions fees, administrative fees, & transactions fees)
Marketing fees (unless your broker is providing signs, business cards, websites, post training
I live in Florida
(it can easily add up your first year)
They say about $2k in most areas. Don't forget you need to buy signs for your listings, business cards, etc. You should also have some money in reserves because it can take time to get your first deal unless you are doing it part time to keep your main income.
