Newly licensed in FL - broker searching

Hey guys, I just got my sales associate license in FL (live in west palm beach), and I am now beginning the process of looking for a potential broker. I will be primarily doing this part-time at first (I'm also a full time pharmacist) so my situation might be a little unique in that I won't have too many days to devote right now since I work 12-hour days at my other job. But I'm definitely committed to it and I could definitely see myself transitioning into more of a full time path if all goes well. I got my license primarily to help with finding my own deals and to lower commission costs of listing/buying. But I also find it appealing to be able to help others find/sell a home, and would like to focus on working with other investors. I was also considering trying to find work as an assistant to a high volume agent, or another investor-agent, in order to learn the ropes. I plan on interviewing a lot of brokers in the next few weeks, so I was wondering if anyone could provide a few tips on key points to address regarding my situation. Or do you think working under a more seasoned agent would be good for me? FYI, I'm also in the market looking to buy my next residence, and also list my current home for rent, so I will be able to provide some instant return to the broker.

Lots of options. When I first started I went with a company that had a lot of training for new agents. A full month of only training class to learn the business. That was great because I learned a lot and had a lot of help with contract (in my opinion the most important thing to know). Then I moved to a company with a program that offers wealth building/profit sharing and referrals. This was great when I was full time and really working the market and building my name in areas. Now, I'm part time, I only use my license for myself, friends and family so I'm with a company that offers 100% commission and is more hands off. They still offer classes and have meetings but it's optional. Depending on what your needs are that's who you should choose. You can PM me if you would like more info.
