Real estate licence in Arizona

Hi my name is Jesus and i want to start my carrier in real estate by obtaining my real estate licence In Phoenix Arizona.. But unfortunately I ran into trouble when I was a teenager and got sent to the department of corrections, my question is to those real estate agents or people involved in real estate in Phoenix Arizona, will this felony prevent me from getting the real estate licence... I've done some research but it's not clear and I would rather get a direct answer from someone who is in the business... Thank you
