Is it necessary to disclose license if buying out of state?

I am not licensed currently, but I know that an agent  is required to disclose that they are licensed when purchasing a property. Is it still necessary for an agent to disclose they are a licensed agent if they are purchasing property out of state?

For example someone is licensed in California, but is buying property in Texas , a state they do not have a license in.

@Joseph M. Best advice I received from a mentor was "disclose down to your underpants." You shouldn't hurt the deal by being honest.
