Prospecting advice for new agents focusing on Multifamily invest

Wanted to reach out to any agents who may have some advice. I am 23 in Cincinnati, OH - potentially moving to Columbus, OH - have been working in a Commercial Real Estate brokerage for a few months now learning more and more about the industry. No one in my office specializes or does much in way of multifamily investments.

I am sitting for my real estate salesperson exam next week and want to hit the ground running. I know that I would like to do multifamily investments, and think that the best niche to begin targeting would be small multifamily properties (4-16 units). If anyone has any advice for prospecting it is greatly appreciated.

Hi Karl,

I've never worked with anyone seeking MFR's, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I'd target investors by showing up to every REIA meeting and local investor meetup I could. Get your name and face out in the public this way as it is pretty cheap to do and gives you an opportunity to learn from others and build your network.
