Advertising my name

John Crone II
Posted

I’ve research around but I’m getting answers that beat around the bush.

So, my name is John Robert Crone II, I have been called Rob from birth. When advertising my RE business, is it ok to put Rob Crone (Business cards, social media, etc.)? Honestly, if someone calls out to me as John I probably wouldn’t even notice it was for me or I would start looking for my Dad (John) lol.

Yes I don't see why not. My card has never had my legal name "Geordan" on it.

Brokers are a weird breed. I've seen all sorts of strange things on cards.

If you're really worried about it, you could put "J. Rob Crone" on the card but I wouldn't bother.
