I'm a realtor representing myself in the purchase of a new home..
Agent in TX- what is the best way to use my commission when buying my own home? How can I use it for negotiating? Put it towards closing or get my commission check?

@Akemi Watkins try to have them use it as a closing cost credit. That way you don't have to pay taxes on it, since it is not a commission.
