What do you look for in a Realtor?

Once I’m back in Florida I’m going to pursue my Real Estate License specializing in investors. I feel like this would be a good step in right direction on my way to become a successful Real Estate Investor and a fun way to network! I wanna know what I’m getting myself into.

What do you look for in a Realtor?

What makes a Realtor stand out to you?

What is a “hard no” in your book when it comes to a go-to Realtor?

Thanks for any input!

I will describe my realtor and the reasons we stick with him:

  1. He knows how flippers think,
  2. He knows how wholesalers thing.
  3. He understands when we should pursue a property and when he needs to say, "don't buy this one"
  4. He knows how to find accurate ARVs
  5. He understands COR (Cost Of Repairs)
  6. He understands the value of being conservative
  7. He doesn't BS
  8. He is short (meaning, straight to the point)
  9. He is short (Good to shove them up spider invested low overhead attics and creepy basements)
  10. Doesn't go to the police when we tell him, make us a great review or we won't pay commission!
