FL HUD properties for sale

Hey ladies and gentlemen! Any of you familiar with the HUD property sales in FL? I've been reading up on this all morning and still don't have a full understanding of how it works. To bid on the homes you must be a HUD certified Broker. But can you tell me are you bidding to get the listing? Or has anyone done a deal and can give me knowledge of the full process?
