Good morning BiggerPockets fam! I’m creating this post because I just passed my Florida state exam last week to become a real estate agent here in Miami, FL. I’m looking for a bit of direction/guidance now, I know I have to find a broker to hang my license with lol I was just hoping some of you more experienced agents can maybe shed some light on any brokerages to look into , any particular ones that are good for new agents , maybe how to go about picking one and just some insight on moving forward into my real estate career! Thank you so much for any advice!!

Good morning @Carlos Miranda and congratulations on passing your exam!

To find the right brokerage, I'd focus on 2 things - Training and Accountability. When I mention Training, I am referring to training on the things that matter the most when it comes to building your book of business in the first 6-12 months - lead generation, lead conversion, analyzing properties/CMAs, etc. With respect to Accountability, you want a community/environment to help you set goals, set an action plan and measure your progress towards hitting those goals.

I am a bit biased on these two since I've been with both brokerages... but eXp Realty and Keller Williams are 2 companies I'd check out if I were in your shoes.

Best of luck to you moving forward!

Abel
