I am wrapping up my 60 hr. pre-license course online for the real estate sales person exam and I just want to know how your experience was with getting your license?
I know that many states have different processes with taking the exam and getting your license. I am from Iowa and I am planning to take the exam soon. What tips do you have for preparing for the exam? How did you study?
I am a senior in college now so I assume that studying a decent amount should put me in a good position to do well.

Depending on what RE school you went to there could be review sessions you can attend to pass the class. A large part of the test is vocabulary and understanding what to do in different situations (at least in NJ). Since it is a new world with new vocabulary... you should know the terms like the back of your hand.
Besides that take the practice tests in the textbook and any you can get your hands on.

@Derek Brown I passed my test this june. The method I used was to take all the quizzes/exams in the back of the books and also for $90 I subscribed to compucram exams online and took tests until I had every question memorized. The questions I'd miss during the quiz or practice exams I would research and find out what keyword I misunderstood.
All ppl study differently, I'm sure you'll do great!
