Charlotte, North Carolina natural disasters and risks

What is the rate of natural disasters in Charlotte, North Carolina.  I'm planning on investing there, but read that sometimes there's tornadoes (rare).  Alos hurricanes can reach North Carolina, and sometime Charlotte.  Also flooding is high in Charlotte.  This is what I read online when I did research.  What are your experiences in Charlotte, NC in terms of these disasters occuring?  Last thing I want is to get a property, and then something bad like flooding occurs, etc.  Thans
