Good Afternoon my fellow bigger pockets family. I am looking for some mortgage brokers, title companies and attorneys who deal with creative real estate in New York City if possible in Queens, NY but I am willing to travel to the boroughs if need be. Looking to build/expand my team.

Can anyone recommend anyone to me?

A real estate agent?

A lender (hard or soft money)?

A mentor?

You may be looking for someone to say, go for it, we are here to share in your profits or to charge you fees.

To your agent, hey,  go find me some properties for me

To your title company, hey, how much will it cost me to close a transaction when I find one

To your lawyer, hey, can I pay you to write a contract for me

To your lender, hey, can you approve me for a loan on a house that I have not purchased yet

I'll YES to the mentor, that is provided the mentor has the skill, experience and proven track record of doing what you want to do!

• You do not need a team! You need some real estate. Make offers, control properties and your "so called team" will materialize!

• The folks who call themselves experts and teach their stuff in motel rooms, tell everyone to go out and build your team. I say forget about it......get the deal and the team will come.
