so I've boon looking into ways to clear some negatives off my credit. I've been reading into what's refferd  to as the section 609 credit loophole where you dispute the right for someone to report on your credit based off the fact that they have to verify you through the credit agency before the loan is issued. Now I'm still looking into this and I do understand that even if you get it removed you are still responseble for the debt. Is this something that actually works or is it better to pay someone like Lexington law

@Jake Holmes

Never heard of the section 609 dispute, but I fixed my credit and my wife's as well back in 2015. Went from low 600s on mine and high 500s on hers to mid 700s in about 5 months. Long story short, I went to MyFICO and hopped in their forums for credit repair and did a lot of reading and asked a lot of questions, but it was worth it. Lots of letters sent out as well. It takes a lot of work but can be done. I didn't want to pay anyone for something I could do for myself, but that's just me.
