Trying To Do A Cash Out Refinance On An Investment Property.

Gerald Thomas
Posted

Hello All,

I would welcome anyone who has knowledge in this area to share information, offer suggestions and or advice about how one would embark on doing a cash out refinance. My family owns a mixed use, income investment property in upstate New York. This property is fully rented, has a storefront downstairs and two one bedroom apartments upstairs.  We own this property free and clear and would really like to pull some money out of it.

After making calls to several local banks to inquiry about the process, I have run into similar issues. There really appears to be a stigma about banks wanting  to work with investors in terms of offering viable  refinance options. Therefore, instead of continuing to spin my wheels, I decided to seek the advice of a legion of Real Estate Professionals who are both experienced and think outside of the box.

Any advice or words of wisdom that would help me achieve my end game will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Gerald
