Currently in China with my wife and 2 y/o son. No Credit.

I'm brand new to the game of real estate investing. I have saved up $30k. But, I don't have any credit. I'm 34 years old with a wife and son, and we live in Guiyang, China. I'd love to connect with people who could help me out with a bit of advice! Aside from not having any credit, I also have no idea where to move when the time comes. I'm torn between Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Reno NV.

Thanks,

Ezra

@Ezra Slayton Welcome to BP! That's exciting being in China and gaining that experience of living in another country. It helps to appreciate how good we have it here. For now just keep learning all you can. Listen or watch the podcasts and webinars and keep reading all you can. Never stop learning. Play with the rental calculators and get proficient with analyzing deals.

I don't know what your criteria is for choosing a place to live but I like Eastern Idaho. Prices are still affordable here and it is a very low crime area to raise a family. And the laws are good for landlords.
