We're sorting out details for an event in mid April in Denver (Tenatively the week of April 8), but nothing is set in stone yet. As soon as it is, I'll be sure to let everyone know! Please give me a little more patience.

No, it isn't the best week, given tax season, but Denver is booked solid in 2013.

More to come when I know.... Thanks!

I am still waiting for when the 2013 Summit is going to be, have I missed the announcement?

I am anxious to attend again this year and to bring some of the gang from our local REIA group!

You haven't missed it, Lynda. We haven't announced it.

Jump in and play a little with us here on the site when you can . . . I'm glad you're a fan of the summit, but the networking and learning that happens daily on BP is comparable to what we did in Denver in 2012.

That said, I hope we should have an announcement of some sort in the coming weeks.

@Lynda Poe , you have not missed the announcement...last I heard @Joshua Dorkin mentioned the fall (Sep / Oct I think). It will be a great one though, I am sure of that!

Dang, Josh beat me to it!

hmmm... really? if the networking and learning is comparable to the summit, we could save the expense of getting out to denver for the live event. somehow i suspect you may be downplaying some of the benefits of the summit... or perhaps it's more along the lines of a different set of benefits that may be comparable to daily bp online experience... yes?

We're aiming for the fall at the moment.

As for your question about my comments, people find new partners and do deals every day as a result of BiggerPockets -- they also educate themselves by reading the site. That's what I meant by "comparable" Kelvin. That said, no matter what, there's always something great about meeting your peers in person and listening to someone teach you live.

People can certainly save the expense of our live events if they want -- we don't put the pressure on like most in the business. If you see value in an event where many of your favorite successful BP members can teach you live, and are there for personal networking and interacting, then it is worth going to. If you don't, you can keep spending time here on the site without going and do just fine too.

I hope that makes sense.

@Account Closed After hearing about the last summit I know everyone is anxious for the next one, and Josh is working on it. In the meantime, maybe you can find other BPers in your area and have a get together. I know they do that in other areas, such as Austin, Las Vegas, etc., and we're thinking of doing one for So Cal BP members too.

@Joshua Dorkin

socal bp summit sounds good to me too! we can also have it (at or) near disneyland - plenty convention space there like where @Brandon Turner recently did his due diligence prospecting for the socal market area! :)
