Has anyone purchased a property in Costa Rica (or anywhere overseas) and used it for Airbnb Rental? Is the loan process the same as in the US? Any tips are appreciated!

@Emma Kellenberger I own a vacation rental in Costa Rica between San Ramon and Esparza.  It is located on 2 and a half acres and has a main house, a guest house, and a caregivers house.  We are currently constructing a tiny house on the property as well.  Also, we are under contract to buy another property, this time out on the beach in a place called Junquillal.  It also has a main house and a caregiver's house and we are going to build 3 tiny houses.  The first property we bought as a group of 9 investors.  The second property we are going to finance 40-50% from a private money lending company in Costa Rica and we are going to bring in a total of 9 investors in on this one as well.  Let me know if you would like the contact of the person I am using to help with the funding in Costa Rica.
