We plan on shopping for a snowbird home from Wa. State in a month. We`ve recently discovered this "Own home/Rent property concept and were baffled. Why would anyone not want own everything. We are over 55 so that was a direction we were headed before seeing many have this concept. So I must be missing something. Can someone take a moment and explain the Pro/Con of this concept. It would be greatly appreciated. TU

Thx. We agree with you on all points. In the summer we live now in Wenatchee so the hot dry weather works for us. Some of the 55+ places charge up to $700 rent. That seems crazy to us
