How did you build a network as an OOS investor?

I've owned a multi-family in the past but I was local so I had many connections to trades people and contractors.

I'm now looking into the Tampa area.

My biggest hurdle is finding the tradespeople and contractors I can trust remotely.

In person REIA meetings are not really an option.

How did you build your network? Did you start with referrals from your agent/PM? REIA meetings?

How did you avoid getting scammed? How did you check in on progress of your project?

Hi @Michelle Reid, if you’re looking in the Tampa Bay Area, @Nicole Shaw should be able to assist you. I hope this recommendation helps.
