I see a number of postings regarding buying, but what if you're wanting to sell. Is it the right time?

In my opinion if you have property in SW Washington and/or Portland, Oregon, my answer is yes!

The numbers don't lie. Our area(s) have seen on average a 13% increase in value over the last year. The average sales price in Portland, OR metro is $310k, up from $273K last year, that's a 13% increase. See attached chart.

Property in SW Washington (Clark County), the percentages are similar with values a little lower, respectfully. Clark County, WA property values are up, with an average of $248k, vs $219k last year. There's a low amount of inventory and the areas interest rates are remaining steady at around 4.5% for a qualified borrowers. This combo makes this area ripe for selling.

This is one of my first posting here, so I hope it was relative and informative to you who have property here in the PNW.
