Hitting the Reset Button

6 Replies

I have been away from BP for far too long.

Earlier in the year I was listening to the podcasts in the gym, but then I fell off.  Just browsing through these past couple days, I have that itch again.  I just read about a user reaching his goal of retirement and that is so inspiring!  Then another post is about a user starting out and is ready to get going!

2015 is going to be something special. I have passed my real estate license test and have plans to get my REI idea off the ground with the profits of future sales.

I have it all laid out, I just need to fill in the blanks!

Here's to 2015!

You should also get someone who would serve as an accountability partner.

Good luck

@Curt Davis  Essentially someone to keep you on track towards goals?  How do you suggest I go about that?

Post up on here and find someone in your area. Offer to do the same thing for them. You are much more likely to work hard if you know you're going to have to report at the end of the week. Nothing worse then that call coming and you having to try to make up excuses.

@Ryan Dossey

You have a great point.  I have an athletic background and accountability is a major factor among the coaches.  I'll definitely do that, thank you!

It can be anyone or multiple people family, friends BP'ers !!!!!

Write down your goals, let them know what they are and put a date next to them so your people will know when you expect to hit them.

Good luck!!!

@Curt Davis  Thanks!  I have a friend that does some investing, and we have no issue of getting the best out of each other.
