Investing while in College

Hello all,

So I have been up researching throughout the forum since around 12 am (it's 4 now), and I was thinking about the possibilities of investing while still in college again.
I am a freshman at Stevenson University and the end of our spring semester is May 17th. I will be attending some local Real Estate Investors Meetups just to surround myself with people with the same interests this summer. One of my goals is to have at least 2 properties that are collecting a monthly cash flow by the time I graduate which will be 2018.

Has anyone rented out or invested in property while they were in school? If so, can you describe how you were successful or not so successful??

Thanks in advance, just something that's been on my mind for a few months now...

Jason, I am interested in doing the same as you. I am 20 years old, have been researching properties in my area for about 4 months now. Being a member on this forum has really opened my eyes as to what is possible, even being so young. I won't be graduating until next May. For now I am keeping my eyes open and making as many connections as possible. I am curious as to what banks are going to say to you when you approach them. Let me know, I had an internship last summer. I had made the most money I have ever had (21.96$ hourly) and I am now at a company being paid 15$ an hour. I have always had steady income just from different companies and places as I was traveling from New Jersey and West Virginia University alot for school. Keep in touch I am curious to see how your journey goes!
