Owner-financing = Reverse Mortgage??

Just started reading up on creative ways of controlling properties, and owner-financing sounds a lot like reverse mortgages to me. In that the goal is to find someone with a lot of equity, or full ownership and pay them monthly until you be ome the full owner. Am I missing something? Or would this be a fair assessment to use to focus my demographic (i.e. retirees) when looking for owner-financed deals?

Google reverse mortgage, then report back.
