Probate Sales

I am interested in taking a look at potentially investing in probate sales?  Has any one had any experience good or bad?  How do I go about getting a list of the sales in my area?

Lots of moving parts in a probate deal, especially if you're just thinking about maybe doing something someday.

Better plan: study what makes a deal for others and work foreclosure and tax lists for properties with a deadline situation. Become a finder for experienced investors who have money and give you feedback.

Then, work deals for your own account once you understand how they come together. This might include inherited property where the owner(s) have already completed probate process or received via distribution, admin or deed from trust.

Your post does not sound like someone about to burst if they don't take action. That needs to change.

In North Carolina the trustee attorneys provide a list of pre-foreclosures online for free.  The actual bid amount price isn't listed until a couple of days before the sale so you will need to keep an eye on the lists to see what's coming up for sale.

This gives you an opportunity to research a property using GIS information which tells you about the last sale, tax value, and lots of other good information.

Contact your banker, insurance agent, and closing attorney to get everyone ready to anticipate you being a successful bidder on the property.

Let me know if I can help!
