When you send letters to owners of vacant homes do you send a specific type of letter that's gets a higher response rate ? Also how do you get the contact info of the home owner when its vacant ? Thanks in advance
To get a hold of the owner look in the county tax records. Usually available online. Under assessor or property tax look up. That will let you know where the tax bill gets sent to. Some counties web sites are more user friendly than others you may have to look at a tax parcel map and search by the parcel in the search function. I'm not a whole seller so hopefully one of them will tell you what method works best for mailing but i would think, hand written on a color other than white to stand out would be the way to go.
