The rent-to-value ratio is close to 1% providing good cash-flow at reasonable prices ($90k to $120k), and one national real estate expert (Greg Rand) predicts the population of Jacksonville to increase by 50% over the next 10 years because of the job growth that would be created from the newly approved port expansion (JAXPORT).
