What is the best way you have found to find off market deals? Are we talking just asking around to real estate agents or is using a wholesalers approach of mass marketing or even door knocking gonna be my best bet for finding a good off market deal? Please help!

@Jameson Sullivan

I wish there was a way that we could confidently say "this is the best way," however, there isn't just ONE way that works best. Especially since it is different in every market, it would be to your benefit to test a bunch of different routes, and even constantly use multiple techniques on a regular basis. There's social media, referrals, direct mail, local REI meetings, door knocking, cold calls, etc. Also, depending on the type of budget you are working with can help determine what you can do.

There are a few BP Podcasts that have some great ideas. I particularly liked Podcast 81https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2014/07/3... ) and  Podcast 141https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2015/09/2... ).

Hope this is helpful to you! Good luck!
