Is this area good for rental purpose?

Hi, I am a newbie in REI and looking for several properties for rental purpose in Novi area, MI. And since I moved in this area form Korea a month ago, I am not very familiar with this area yet. While I am searching for a my residential house, I found that two area looks quite a nice for rental purpose. Maples of Novi near novi road& 13miles, and large apt&condo complex near 9 mile& Haggerty in Novi. Are these area good place for rental purpose investment? Any information or suggestion about my question? Thanks in advance...
