Wholesaling Mobile Homes in CA

Hey guys I have a quick question in regards assigning a mobile home property. Would I need a MH retailers license here in CA? I've read you would have to, to be able to buy/sell Mobile homes, but since I'm just assigning (selling the contract to a buyer) would it make a difference? Technically I'm not buying and selling. Thoughts?
